Can juvederm be reversed?

Juvederm, Restylane, and other fillers formulated with hyaluronic acid can be reversed with an enzyme known as hyaluronidase. Injecting this enzyme into the treated area dissolves the hyaluronic acid particles. Hyaluronidase won't help with fillers like Radiesse, Bellafill, and Sculptra. In certain patients, a steroid injection can help reverse the effects of some of these fillers to a certain extent, but the only sure way to “undo the results of these fillers” is to wait for the body to absorb them.

Fortunately, an expert injector may improve results or completely reverse them, depending on the specific product. Robert Graper and Garrett Harper explain more here. Hyaluronic Acid Fillers: Products such as Juvederm, Voluma and Volbella can be partially or completely removed with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that acts as an antidote to hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers such as Restylane, Perlane and Juvederm.
